Scholarship Fund

Cedarsong Nature School, located on Vashon Island, is a project of the Ancient Forest Education Foundation, a 501c3 tax-exempt organization (EIN 91-1893471). The mission of Cedarsong Nature School is to provide opportunities for children to have direct experience with nature in order to increase awareness of and connection to the natural world. It has been well documented that direct experience with nature leads to greater compassion for other humans, animals, and nature.

To further its mission, Cedarsong Nature School has ensured that no child will be turned away for lack of funds by establishing a scholarship fund. This way we can provide money to needy families who may not otherwise be able to participate in our valuable educational programs. 100% of all money donated to the scholarship fund goes directly to families with financial need in order to offset their tuition for camps and classes. Your tax-deductible donation to the Cedarsong Nature School scholarship fund will keep this unique educational experience accessible to all.

There are many ways in which your business can support this valuable Vashon organization, from in-kind donations to store credit to monetary donations directly to our scholarship fund. Your contributions are fully tax deductible and demonstrate community support for this worthwhile educational experience. Remember to add Cedarsong Nature School to your company's matching funds donation list.

Thank you from all of us at Cedarsong Nature School, and special thanks from the children who will benefit from your generosity.
